 Early life: 

Kim Antoine Lode Clijsters (born 8 June 1983) is a Belgian former professional and the most beautiful woman and a tennis player. Clijsters is a former world No. 1 in both singles and doubles.

She is the daughter of Lei Clijsters, a former international footballer, and Els Vandecaetsbeek, a former national gymnastics champion. Lei Clijsters died of lung cancer on 4 January 2009. Clijsters says that she inherited footballer's legs from her father and a gymnast's flexibility from her mother. Kim's younger sister Elke finished 2002 as the ITF World Junior Doubles champion and retired in 2004 after back injuries. Clijsters started playing tennis at age 5 with her cousins, and her parents took her to watch matches around Europe. Her chosen tennis player growing up was Steffi Graf.
By 1992, Clijsters had become an accomplished amateur player. Overwhelmed with the young Belgian's athletic abilities, tennis coach Bart Van Kerckhoven decided to coach Clijsters. With Van Kerckhoven's help, the 11-year-old the little Clijsters earned the Belgian Junior Championship in 1994.
At the age of 13, Clijsters decided to improve her game further by attending the Wilrijk tennis school. During her time at Wilrijk, Clijsters left the tutelage of Van Kerckhoven and began training with Coach Carl Maes. In 1998, at the age of 15, Clijsters wowed fans with her junior Grand Slam success, becoming the youngest National a champion in history. That same year, she also placed 11th in the Wimbledon junior event, and won the French and U.S. Open doubles titles with partners Jelena Dokjic and Eva Dyrberg. Her successes landed her at No. 4 in the International Tennis Federation junior doubles world ranking.
In 2001, Clijsters was part of the Belgium Fed Cup winning team. Clijsters declared her retirement with immediate effect on 6 May 2007, but almost two years later, on 26 March 2009, she publicly announced her intent to return to the WTA tour for the 2009 summer hard court season. In only her third tournament back, she won her second US Open title, becoming the first unranked player and wildcard entry holder to conquest to a Grand Slam.
In June 2011, TIME magazine named her one of the "30 Legends of Women's Tennis: Past, Present and Future". According to Forbes in August 2011, she became the fifth highest-paid female athlete over the previous year.

On 20 May 2012, A tough competitor to the most of the tennis players namely Clijsters, again revealed that she would retire after the US Open. On 29 August 2012, Clijsters played her last singles match of her career at the 2012 US Open where she lost in the second round to Laura Robson.

Awards and achievements:

 Clijsters is the former world champion and she ruled on tennis court for almost 6 months. Clijsters collected 41 WTA singles titles and 11 WTA couples titles. She won four Grand Slam singles titles: three at the US Open, in 2005, 2009, and 2010 and one at the Australian Open in 2011.
       She was also runner-up in four Grand Slam singles tournaments and won the WTA Tour Championships singles title in 2002, 2003, and 2010.  also became runner-up in two Grand Slam doubles tournaments, one WTA Championships doubles tournament, and one Grand Slam mixed doubles tournament.
 In 2009 she became the first mother after Evonne Goolagong (1980) to win the US open. . In doubles, she won the French Open and Wimbledon titles in 2003.

Marital status:

 In July of 2007, she secretly married American basketball player Brian Lynch. The next year, in February 2008, Clijsters gave birth to a daughter, Jada EllieClijester married twice, before lynch she had an affair with a proficient tennis star Litton Hewitt as in December 2003, Clijsters announced her engagement to Australian Lleyton Hewitt, but their relationship ended in October 2004. Clijsters is still affectionately nicknamed "Aussie Kim" by Australians.
